BWCA delivers more than water

August 30, 2017

Early this year the BWCA launched its sustainability programme called ‘5 for 5 Pledge’.

One of the pledges the Association asked Member companies to support was to be more active in supporting industry-wide and local charities – corporate social responsibility. The BWCA itself chose “Just a Drop” which brings clean water to communities across the globe.

BWCA Chairman John Dundon said: “The level of effort, imagination and generosity demonstrated by our Members impresses me but doesn’t surprise me. This is an industry that seems to attract people who are enthusiastic, empathetic and determined, not just in their working lives but in all that they do. We thank them, on behalf of Just a Drop, for their superb efforts”.

Three Peaks Challenge: Seven members of the Ebac team climbed the tallest peaks in the United Kingdom: Ben Nevis in Scotland, Scafell in England and Snowdon in Wales raising funds for Just a Drop and Cancer Research.  Ebac Limited is based in Newton Aycliffe and is a WE Supplier Member.
