Describe the current watercooler market in France and where you think it is going?

  • Robert Kadijevic

The market is just above 400 000 units and has been growing by 5% in value year on year. Both POU and HOD are available with POU growing faster. Companies are increasingly offering water to their employees as a source of well-being.

  • WE

What are the aims of AFIFAE and plans for the future?

  • Robert Kadijevic

The AFIFAE association contributes to the expansion of the French Coolers industry. Actions include discussions with the Public sector regarding future legislation and promotion of out of home hydration.

  • WE

WE is having its annual event in Paris this year. What effect do you think this will have on the French water cooler industry?

  • Robert Kadijevic

Having the WE annual event in Paris will bring key European players of our industry to France. It will help increase awareness of our industry and create interest from the media. This will also create business opportunities and last but not least an opportunity to enjoy unforgettable moments in beautiful Paris.

  • WE

What part of the WE Event are you looking forward to most and why?

  • Robert Kadijevic

Meeting visitors from other markets and suppliers at the Trade Fair.

  • WE

At the event, you are giving a workshop “France and drinking water habits in the workplace”. Can you give visitors an idea of what you will be talking about and the discussions that could follow?

  • Robert Kadijevic

The workshop will present a recent study run in France about the importance of out of home hydration. I am sure that this will be pertinent for many markets and will trigger interesting discussions, not only about water consumption but also ways of presenting our industry to different stakeholders.
